Join the community at 4pm on Friday, June 28th for the Capital City Pride tailgate where they will be giving away a special rainbow Iowa Cubs hat to the first 500 individuals. In addition, our friends at J&D Restaurants/McDonald’s will be at the tailgate with the free soda and Pride koozies! You might even run into some of your favorite McDonald’s characters!

After the tailgate fun, join us for the game at 7:00pm where we will take over Principal Park for a fabulous evening out. We’ll have rainbow flags waving in breeze, the Des Moines Gay Men’s Chorus belting out the national anthem, and to top it all off, a colorful fireworks display to cap off the night! Let’s celebrate our LGBTQ community in style while cheering on our Iowa Cubbies! (The iCubs are generously donating $7 from each ticket sold will be donated back to Capital City Pride!
